§ 9-302. Definition; nuisance.

  • All conduct which tends to annoy the community or injure the health of the citizens in general, or to corrupt the public morals, as defined in F.S. § 823.01, as amended. The term nuisance shall include, but not be limited to: brawling or fighting; conduct as to constitute a breach of peace or disorderly conduct; open displays of indecency, such as urination in public; sale of illegal drugs; excessive traffic congestion which poses a danger to pedestrians, property, or other vehicles in the area; excessive noise at volumes and for periods of time which disturbs nearby residents in the quiet enjoyment of their property; the destruction or defacing of property.
