§ 5-53. Modifications, amendments, deletions.

The mechanical code adopted by and incorporated by reference in section 5-51 is modified as specified hereunder:
(a)

The building official is responsible for the enforcement of the mechanical code.

(b)

Delete sections 102.1 through 102.2.4, 102.6, and 108.1 through 108.5.2.

(c)

Continuous framing shall be required around all return air grills. Such framing shall be sealed to the duct/plenum in an approved manner to prevent unconditioned air from entering the system.
