§ 2-187. Policy.

The owner or owners of property in the unincorporated area of the county, which is contiguous to the city limits and reasonably compact, may petition the city commission to annex the property. The city commission shall consider and evaluate the annexation and attendant zoning in relation to all pertinent factors including the factors set forth in section 21-80(a).
