§ 19-136. Schedule of standard rates for water, including reuse water, if applicable, and wastewater service.

  • (a)

    Established. There is hereby established a uniform rate structure providing for a billing charge, base charges, conservation inclining water usage block rates, wastewater usage rates, and reuse water usage rates, with applicable amounts for the use, or the reasonable availability for use, of the services and facilities of the city water system, including but not limited to the city reuse water system, and the city sewerage system, by each connection to each of the city's water system including but not limited to reuse water system, if applicable, and sewerage system, which rates, fees, and charges are on file in the city clerk's office and attached hereto as schedule 1-R which consists of inside city and outside city rates, fees, and charges which is hereby incorporated in this section as if fully set forth herein.

    (b)

    Commencing on February 1, 2017 and effective thereafter until amended and/or revised by the city commission, all city water, including but not limited to, reuse water if applicable, and wastewater, rates, fees and charges shall be in the amounts as set forth in schedule 1-R attached hereto and hereby incorporated in this section as if fully set forth herein which schedule of rates, fees, and charges are and shall be on file in the city clerk's office.

Editor's note

Ord. No. O-16-37 , § 1, states, "The automatic increase of two and one-half (2½) percent for all rates, fees, and charges on the 1st of October without hearing imposed therein and as codified in this section, is hereby repealed effective October 1, 2017."
