No person who is the owner or in charge or control of any vehicle shall abandon any
dismantled, partially dismantled, wrecked, junked or inoperative vehicle on any road,
street, alley, highway or other public easement. Such vehicle shall be deemed to have
been abandoned if it remains on a city right-of-way and/or other public property for
more than forty-eight (48) consecutive hours. The provisions regarding abandoned property
on public property in F.S. § 705.103 shall apply in the city.
